Welcome to Oboehelp! This is a web site that uses innovative and effective oboe teaching tools to give support and help to young oboe players and their teachers to overcome very oboe-specific issues and improve their musicianship and technical skills.
To get started, select a playing topic from the menu bar above – all the topics are listed alphabetically. You can also use the nifty search widget by typing in a keyword to link to the relevant sections of Oboehelp.

Throughout Oboehelp, the fingers are numbered as follows: the thumb is 1, the pointer is 2, the middle finger is 3, the ring finger is 4, and the little finger is 5.
